No, I got my vin in less than 2 weeks.
I ordered my truck 3/17/11. Build date 3/31/11. Took delivery 4/20/11 = 34days.

Yep, today after months of deciding,running numbers, procrastinating, and changing my mind. I DID IT!!! Ordered my first Ford truck today!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats and best of luck with it. I am going through the same thing, but am having a hell of a time making up my mind. LOL.

Well I waited to Friday morning to e-mail dealer for info. Got back to me right away. He didn't give me a vin# but my ETA is week of April 9th. Whoo hooo cant wait!!!

How exactly did you request the brochure... I've tried but so far, I haven't been able to snag the $750 coupon.

Just went to their website to order (by mail)the brochure. When it asked when you plan I buying I clicked on the one says buy within 1 to 3 months.

Congrats! I waited almost a year before finally deciding to order one. One day, I just snapped. Went to the dealer and placed the order. Loads of good information on this site. Helped save me thousands of dollars and several headaches.

I, too, would like to tip my hat to the great folks here. Thanks for all of the valuable information.

Thank you gentlemen... that's exactly what I did. I did receive a brochure about two weeks later but no coupon. My last attempt was by calling Ford's marketing group where I requested one again. Still waiting to see if that one has a $750 coupon included.

Well Ia'm super anxious waiting for my truck to arive (week of April 9th). So to help pass the time started ordering stuff...... ha, ha

so far...
Klasse polish and klasse sealant along with some Colinite #845 wax
Bedrug and Bakflip F1.

Hopefully April's rebates are better so I can buy more stuff. LOL

Can you tell I'm pumped, I don't how people with longer wait times can stand it.
