Another thing most dont think about is if your in the cooler months is warming the truck up, the fuel mileage gauge wont catch if remote start is used but hand calculating will, 15 mins every day through the coarse of a winter adds up. Heck to me just sitting at a drive through or waiting for the lil lady I just watch my numbers drop.....lol. I am excited to see what happens with summer blend and fix my IWE if the numbers go up, just having the vacuum unhooked to the front end changed mine.

Just brainstorming some, how about tire pressures have they been checked lately, have you tried a computer reset, did you have your truck at this time last season and if so did it have the CAI on it then when getting higher mileage, do you always refuel at the same place or change the type of fuel used. Sorry for the dumb questions just asking at times the K.I.S.S system is often over looked.

So, did you ever calculate manually? That would tell you if it's just a computer issue or if it really is low.

I have a 2013 fx4 live in ny state almost 100,000 miles on my ecoboost now I blame the lower mileage to winter blend fuel and the ethanol in the fuel too. I have slightly bigger tires on now for winter so that make the mpg drop. But I plan on changing the differentials fluid transfer case transmission fluid and coolant soon and the plugs also clean the throttle body too. I don't have my cac drilled no issues what so ever with the shudder on acceleration

As long as I keep averaging 16 to 17 mpg for combination driving I'm happy. 18 to 19 mpg on the hwy depending on the speed limits.

Same.
Mine has 3.55 gears, 275/60r20s.

Every MPH above 65, the yellow fuel economy bar drops a few tenths.

My truck came with the 3.31 gearing...not as bad as I thought with the 6 speed tranny. I get the same as my son in law who has a '13 Lariat 4x4 with 3.55 gearing but he's not leveled and runs stock size tires. My best mileage is at 50-55 mph which is the limit on some of the crappy 2 lanes we have down here. No hills or mountains in Louisiana either!

Hi,
I just installed the SP534 yesterday and drove a bit and also this morning on my normal route. I do not see a difference in Gas mileage yet. I pulled the factory plugs out. have a Spectre air filter, the one that I can clean like the K&N but in the box. I get 12.8 on a regular. Any ideas on how to improve. 2013 FX4 Ecoboost.

Thanks!

What's your route like? We average 14-15 around town at 25mph currently and that's with using 4WD often since it's winter.
