Anyone make a Harley-esque type lower grill, I don't like the bulbous black plastic pods on each side of the lic. plate opening.


Was hoping you could remove just the pods and then fit a grill into the opening that would match the STX Sport billet grill.

X2!! I've been looking for something to fit in the lower but have not found anything I liked. On a side note on the harley grill do you know if the chrome part is like a clip on chrome trim or is it one piece part of the grill?

Hey Notch, from what I have seen, (doesn't mean I am right, lol) it looks like the HD "grille" is just an inset that goes into the bumper/valance opening.


I think the black pods look fine on the black trucks, as they blend in well, but to my eye anyway with other colors it seems to make them stand out.


I'm going to pull those two pods off tonight and see what's back there, shouldn't be too hard to fab up something, problem with the HD inserts I have seen is they taper to a point on the ends, I believe to fit in this opening the ends would have to be more straight up and down.

i was checking out a HD while at a dealer yesterday. The lower portion is not something that goes in the opening. The part i was looking at has bars from one end to the other that are unpainted.

Here is a parts diagram from tasca, #27 is the part I saw and want now for my truck LOL I can't find a price, but the outside edges are angled, im wondering if it would even fit out bumper.

If your state doesn't require a front plate I threw a light bar down there. My personal favorite look for a light bar.
