Anybody had a broken tail light and didn't know how it happened, well I have and my Buddies also, it poped a piece out like somebody hit it with a pool cue as if your where hitting a cue ball if you can imagine what im trying to get across, my friends was the same, no damage at all around the tail light, the only thing we had in commin was are tail gates droped but not having fully latched. Didn't notice taillight till a couple days later. Has anyone experienced this.

get some pics. I think I know what you mean. mine has a little hole and a crack that just showed up one day but the light is still fine just has a hole and crack.

I honestly don't see how the two could be in common. If a tailgate drops, it doesn't have enough energy to break the light.

I think it could have done it to my 97 since the tailgate is a dadgum rock. I'm afraid to drop it. but it's not bad enough to spend the 35$ at orielys to get a new one

ya funny.....dope. lol, ya i still got the tail light at home because i had to by new one, I'll be home in 10 days so I will take a picture of it.
