I'm guessing it's because you're in Canada.
You'll have to contact the Canadian Ford Service rep.

parked my truck for about 8 days in the garage after washing and waxing. probably opened and closed the doors 20 times the day before i parked it with the radar detector left on. truck started fine but got the screen saying battery shutdown. drove the truck a couple a days and got the message about battery saver and remove key ignition on, key was not in ignition, thought here we go with a bad battery or a drain. checked battery voltage 12.45volts, 14.12v running. after a couple of drive cycles everything is back to normal. the thing that bothers me is after removing key the message that the ignition was on, went off after opening the door. cycled the key on and off a couple of times when it firsted happened same message but all seems well know.

sean453,

You post led me to believe you have a new battery, and your concern was resolved for the time being. If you still need help, I can send the Ford Canada rep to lend you a hand.

Hi sean453,

You are NOT chopped liver; you're a valued member of the Ford Family! Ashley works with our American friends and I take care of the wonderful Canadian members of the forum.

PM me your VIN, odometer reading, full name, best daytime phone number, and servicing dealer; I'll check into options for you.

I don't want to be chop liver either...

I've had this exact same problem since shortly after getting the truck, a 2013 Platinum, back in November of 2012. Within seconds of turning the ignition off the LCD would say going into power save mode or something. Still happens every day.

I'm in PA, please advise.

Same as mine, but mine is related to a battery charge problem.

I've gotten this message twice in the almost two years I've had my '12...

Both times I'd left the ignition key in the accessory position for too long. I was more than grateful to see the message, and the vehicle start right up.

Better option than having the truck drain the battery completely and not start.
