Sync Voice Recognition Problem

I recommend cycling your phone on and off before you get in the truck. I know apple products are supposed to be infallible, but even they need to be restarted sometimes. And turn off bluetooth on the phone before you get in the truck. Then go into your truck and disable the auto-download feature. Then turn the iphone bluetooth back on. That's pretty much all I did. If you have any other problems, you can turn off the "sync phonebook" option in the iphone. I don't remember if I did that or not to get mine to work.

What's weird is that everything is working with the manual controls. My iphone streams bluetooth music just fine still and it all works, it just doesn't hear my voice... Is that the problems you guys were having?

I has this on my 10, I would have to raise my voice and talk slowly! Got annoying so I ditched it and went aftermarket.
You may try a master reset or pull fuse. It will most likely reset your settings.

Exactly. I'd hitthe Voice button, the lady would say "please say a command". I'd say something, and then she'd wait several seconds and say something like "please say a command, you can say Phone, bluetooth audio, order a burger, and so on". It was basically like the system was ignoring me.

Folks, I am having the same problem with my new F-150. Everything was working fine. Now bluetooth is very difficult to connect, Nav does not recognize my voice and phone has no audio. It's like somebody hit the "mute" button. I will try the fuse suggestion AND the master reset.
