I had the ford dealer do mine. I like the update. She has lost her lisp and doesn't say Bluedooth audo anymore lol. I also like the Tex message icon on the screen now. However when you try to send a message through the truck with one of the preloaded messages on the screen it says error.

Ford needs to get on the same page with all their employees.
FWIW, I called the Sync Tech line and explained my situation, not being able to download from My Garage site, and I have tried all the scenarios explained here. I was told that the Engineers have taken down the 4.6 update due to... wait for it..... issues.. shocker..
They said they will contact me by email & text when the software is ready for update..

loaded this yesterday and have three issues
cannot send health report
cannot send texts - supposedly an iPhone issue
time stamp on incoming texts in popup with is +8 hours to the log time stamp

I've escalated everyone who's sent me their info so far. If I haven't provided a case number for you yet, expect a PM soon. For some reason, the this is only affecting some F-150 vehicles.

What happens when you try to run the report? Also, you're correct. iPhones do not allow you to send text through SYNC.

I still have not loaded the newest version. Mine works 95% of the time. Once in awhile it will not sync with my phone or it has a hard time understanding me. It usually clears up after I shut off the truck and restart it.
