Default 2011 Ecoboost Still Going Strong after 13 Years

I haven't been on the forum in a while and thought I would give an update on my truck. I bought a brand new 2011 ecoboost (first year they made it) Lariat SCREW in 2010 and still drive it everyday. 220,000 miles and still runs and looks great. For someone wanting to know how these hold up, here are the issues I have had in 13 years of ownership that you may watch out for:

The ecoboost gas mileage isn't any better than the V8.
The front Ford brake rotors are crap. I went through two sets before I hit 100,000 miles, then I replaced them with the 2nd tier quality Autozone rotors. Those are over 120,000 miles strong still.
The coils will go bad if the engine gets soaking wet. Do NOT wash your engine. Do not intentionally drive fast through deep standing water. I have replaced my coils 3 or 4 times before I learned this, but I bought Autozone lifetime warranty coils the 2nd time I replaced them, so it costs nothing each time now.
The third taillight WILL eventually leak. You will know when you see the stains in your headliner and it smells like mildew. Super easy fix though.
My 4wd actuator (both electrical and hydraulic) went out around 150,000 miles and caused some damage to my transfer case. Had to replace the case.
AC/heater door actuator switches went bad around 80,000.
Replaced starter at 210,000.
Rear slide window went out around 120,000 miles, and I never fixed it.
Driver side mirror defroster quit working. Didn't fix that because you have to replace the whole mirror...

I changed fluids somewhat regularly, always with synthetic. I changed shocks and struts for the first time at 200,000. The shocks were GONE, but the struts weren't bad. I don't drive like an *******, and I only pull a heavy load a few times a year. It's been a shockingly cheap cost of ownership for this age of vehicle. Knocking on wood here, but never a lick of trouble from tranny, turbos, engine, and the rest of the drivetrain (other than the transfer case). The black sparkle paint still looks great, The interior is still really nice, and all of the plastic on the truck is still holding up well. Stereo still sounds like new and there isn't a rattle one. No play in the steering wheel, and drives solid. As you can see, that is a pretty short list of issues for 13 years of ownership.

Am I still happy with my purchase? Absolutely. Would I like a new truck? Absolutely. Can I afford the new trucks that have airconditioned seats like mine has? Absolutely not.

Nice update!
About to roll 120K on my 2013 XLT 4x4 Ecoboost and other than some very minor paint chips and tiny dings it could pretty much still pass for a new one. Other than the infamous timing chain/phaser rattle issue (completely fixed about 60K miles ago under warranty) I've had no major issues either. I agree about the rotors. I put AC Delco rotors/pads all around a few years back and they have been flawless. No issues yet on the third tail light, but both rear tail lights got fogged up with moisture over the years so I eventually replaced both of them. My fresh/recirc actuator also failed a couple of years back (there is a mega thread on this being a common failure) and was also fixed under extended warranty. I'd love to have one of those big screen entertainment and all around camera systems they have in the dash now, but other than that I still love the truck and just put a new set of tires on last week. Will probably keep it until I am old enough for mama to take the keys away!
