2010 platinum used prices help
Every option but a bed liner, navi power steps tailgate step heated cooled seats 3.55 gear. 38k miles 70% tread on tires. 33k is the price tag. Carmax so hard to negotiate the price. Anybody weigh in on some current transactions? Had a buddy last month paid 33k on a 2011 eco lariat ( no navi backup camera or sensors) 15k miles.
I know most will say buy an 11 but I like the 5.4. Just personal choice.

Not being in the car biz, I can't really offer an answer. The Plat will have a higher price than the other trim levels. If you like the '10 for the 5.4 & accept the price as OK, then go for it.

Really depends on where you live. Here in Texas you can get a brand new 2013 larriat for that price. Have you checked with kbb.com or autotrader to see what comparable trucks are going for?

Less than two weeks ago CarMax offered me $29,000 for my 51,000+ mile 2010 Platinum White F150 Platinum 4x4 with nav, sunroof, 3.55 LSD, skid plates, short bed with LineX. The Ford dealer where I was buying my new 2014 F150 Platinum matched that price on trade.

Five-0 Ret.
Used Platinum's are high in my area of the country. I see '11 &'12's selling for nearly the 39+K I paid for my new '13 2wd. So 33K doesn't sound to bad in my mind. Especially for a low mileage one.

Seems like that is what they are going for, it is surprising how well the 2010's have held their value. My XLT has not dropped as much as I thought it would. If you like it, buy it. The nice thing about CARMAX is their extended warranty, I would highly recommend it based on friends that have purchased it, but they purposefully bought a Range Rover (not exactly known for reliability) from CARMAX for the extended Warranty LOL.

Thanks guys for your responses. I did include the extended warranty bumper to bumper (another 60K miles and 72 months 1,800 bucks with a 150 deductible)
From researching on everything else out there for sale I feel this is a fair price.

There was a user here a week or so ago who bought a new 2013 Platinum for 39k. Check out truecar.com, I'm not sure if they do used pricing or not, and of course KBB, NADA, Black Book etc.

I would go for a newer style engine (3.5TT or 5.0) over the 5.4. Drive one of the 11-13 if you have the opportunity to. These newer engines seem to have alot better acceleration and just run smoother than the old 5.4 IMO.
