I have a 2011 F-150 XLT Crew Cab with a 5.0. Currently it has about 209,000 miles on it.

My Truck recently started randomly making a grinding like noise along with a slight vibration from take off in both forward and reverse. The sound/vibration goes away between 5 & 10 miles per hour, and the truck runs fine down the road with no noticeable problems. I wish I could give a better description of the problem, but am hoping some of y'all have experienced this and can help me to diagnose and repair it.

Heat shield rattle? Check out this video with a quick easy fix. I had this issue, but my rattling noise was primarily at highway speeds.
