Default SYNC Issues

This has been going on for months now!! My SYNC keeps randomly messing up. It'll work fine for a while, and then it'll just stop connecting to my phone. When I push the SYNC button, and I try to say "Bluetooth Audio" or "USB", it doesn't pick up my voice, almost as if the microphone is broken. When I remove the fuse that's connected to SYNC and then put it back in, it'll work for a little while, then it just messes up again. Has anyone else had the same problem and found a solution? HELP! Lol.

When I first sync'ed my Droid Turbo to my truck and played Pandora, the song title would show up the 8" screen. But now it won't show it. Very damn annoying. Having issues with mine to I would love to know how to fix it.

Master reset will cure it for a while. You will have to re-pair your phone after.

I wasn't talking to you or addressing your concern, I was addressing the OP.

@Rnlcomp How do I perform the master reset? And is there any other more permanent fix? Lol.

Tried the master reset, and my SYNC is still acting the same way. Guess I'll just have to pull the fuse again!!

If I remote start my truck for more than 10min and jump in and try to connect it connects fine just doesn't play sound. I have to stop turn off the truck and open the door then shut it and start the truck up and it works fine. Sync is junk I wish I didn't have the Sony system or I would have done my own system like my last 4 trucks. I just didn't want to spend a ton of money redoing the system. It's annoying but I look past it and think there could be other greater issues like mechanical I guess you just gotta deal with it

Hey everyone!

Thanks for being so helpful, Rnlcomp! I just want to chime in. I also suggest checking your Owner account for updates: Owner.Ford.com Once you're logged in, select the SYNC & HOW TOS tab then CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES. If you're software is current, please work with your dealer to get the issue resolved.
