Your paint is already cured on new vehicles. Wax as soon as you like.

I washed with dish soap on the first day of owning the truck to remove any chemicals they put on. I then claybarred, and put on multiple coats of zaino polish. Truck looks great and is going to be protected for almost a year. Also the paint is as smooth as glass now. The biggest key when washing and waxing is using clean water, filtering your water helps a lot, and use the filtered water in your soap and rinse. Then have a good shammy so you can remove the excess water quickly to prevent spotting, and avoid doing everything in high heat or the sun. If the trucks surface is hot to the touch you are going to have a hell of a time getting the truck perfect.

That's what sucks about where I live. We have hard water and it makes it a pain if you don't get the water off pronto.

I bought this mr clean car wash kit that works great. It filters the water really well.

Thanks, I just thought there was a few month cure time for the paint so the wax wouldnt ruin the top fresh layer.

i bought a new car again last week and gave it a real good cleaning and put some amazing concours wax on it to protect it. Car had 19 miles on it when i did this, which is exactly how far it is from my driveway to the dealer. Dont wait, use protection!

It's only like 15-30days that you need to let paint sit before waxing. Chances of getting a car within that time period after paint is pretty rare.

If you get a re-painted panel for any reason(wreck/crash/ect), wait 30-days.

You can actually use many products on it without problems, its just the ones that contain silicone that you want to avoid up till then.
