Default Switch back led front turn/running lights

Decided to give them a try and they work rather well, still have to install a load resistor to stop the hyper flash. Bright as hell also, with the running lights on you get an extra set of forward facing projector white lights, nearly identical in color temp to oem HID.

Last pic I was able to catch the left turn while it was blinking. Where I got them.

I'm running the vleds. I wasn't a fan of tapping into the factory wiring for the load resistors.

I'm no fan of monkeying with the wires either, I'm still debating adding the load resistors.

I have had a set of similar switch backs from Ijdmtoy for more than 7 years in my trucks. The one set I have I just pull from the old and put in the new. Great product and not one of my leds has burned out. Installed these on my buddies tundra 2 years back and he loves them. Also installed a projector style bulb from JDM in the cargo lights

Good to hear positive feedback of JDM product.
I am about to order this, rated at 1260 lumens.

Recently I got my headlights disabled as my DRLs on my 2009 XLT, I've just installed the DRL-1 module to run my turn signal filament as DRL.
I would like to get a brighter bulb and that means switching to a LED.

Not a fan of having to use the resistor though. What I would like to know is that is there any harm in trying it out without the resistor, if it does not hyperflash is it ok to continue using it without the resistor or is the resistor a must with LED bulb?

I've read a post where couple members have used this bulb without the resistor and no hyperflashing, however this is rated at only 70 lumens.

If anyone has installed these 1260 lumens in their truck it would be good to hear your feedback.

Any issues with drivers flashing you with their brights ? Between headlights these and led fogs it would be a little much to oncoming traffic

The EP27 flasher module will eliminate the hyperflash without having to splice wires.

No. There is no "flasher module" in the 2011+ trucks. The check and timer is built into the ECU and can only be disabled by using the Integrated Diagnostic System software and interface device.

I disabled mine with the IDS. Much cleaner setup than adding the electrical load back in with heat generators (power resistors).

I thought this was true as well and ALL of the aftermarket LED vendors advertise the flasher as a replacement for the 2009 - 2015 F150s. Diode Dynamics mistakenly lists this relay for 1997 - 2012 for front turn signal hyperflash issues. Guess they should fix this listing.
