OMG - the latch is on the INSIDE? No wonder I couldn't find them when I looked once previously. I'd love to keep jumper cables and other things back there too!

I got the speakers from Crutchfield, and did the install myself. They are self powered subs made by Sound Ordnance. The subs come in their own box with an onboard amp. They are nice compact, and easy to setup units. Crutchfield had them for $159.99 with a free wiring kit. I ran one 8 gauge power wire from the battery to a power distribution block, and put each sub on it's own fuse. I mounted all the wiring components on a small piece of MDF. It made for a clean install, and I can still fold the seat bottoms up to use the load flat floor. I got the idea from another member here. User name is etazeta.

Here is a link for the subs:

This is the free wiring kit I used:

Unfortunately Crutchfield raised the price($199.99), and doesn't look like they are offering the free wiring kit anymore. Just keep watching the subs. Maybe they will have the offer again. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Might as well not have a back window on mine - headrests take up over half the window...
The back window is small enough to begin with. Somehow it hasn't ever given me trouble with a blind spot or anything tho lol

i like how everything, and i do mean EVERYTHING is behind your seats. but, when dealing with subs, size make a difference. a .5ft box isn't gonna get as deep as a 2.3ft box.

so, how well do they put out? like a cheating wife... or a dirty hooker?
