Question Supercharger Question

This may be a shot in the dark, but I am wondering if anyone knows what i would have to do to my 2012 F150 XTR with a 5.0L to put a Land Rover stock supercharger on it. I have a line on one for dirt cheap that just needs a couple parts to fix. My dad seems to think it should bolt right on... I'm a little for skeptical. Any information or links you guys could provide would be of great help.

Thank you

I am not an expert on Superchargers but "Bolt right on" is far from the same thing as Work Correctly. You would need a tuner and most likely new injectors to make any forced induction system work without leaning out the motor or causing damage.

Would be a neat project, but it certainly will not "bolt right on". Keep us posted as you piece it together.

I'm guessing the 4.2L V8 in the Land Rover has a shorter deck height than the 5.0, making it impossible without some specifically designed intake manifold spacers. Same problem was encountered when people wanted to put a Lightning supercharger on a 4.6 GT Mustang. The truck's 5.4 made it a no go without some serious work.

If it's the same by some chance, it will still be a lot of work. Custom intake and tuning at the minimum. And always plan to have to relocate the little things like wires and such.
