For the money the sc is the best bang for the buck. 2115 stang will set you back a whole lot more than that. And that's just the beginning for the GT. My vote is the truck.

If the trucks paid off, I'd say get some sort of forced induction (procharger or supercharger). It'll still be less money than paying for a new vehicle. And you'll have a toy you can take to the track to surprise some people. Lol.

Yes the truck is paid for and it really does not get used much . Once you get used to having a 4X4 kicking around then it is hard to go without especially with winter looming . A SC would give it around 485 hp add in a Ranco lift with 20 inch rims on 35 tires plus a host of other things stuck in my head . Seems like that is the common vote !

You might take a look at procharger. They have similar power ratings, although everything I've seen in on the current gen V6 or 5.0. And they are cheaper than a supercharger.

you can buy a rebuilt title lightning, but at the end of the day the resale value would be crap because of the title. It'd be a big financial loss if you dumped money into it. Buy the mustang, or mod the truck you already have would be my vote.

Do you want to road race(the track kind, not the illegal kind)/autocross/etc or just get thrown back in the seat from time to time? If you just wanna be quick, than you'll get more function out of your truck with mods.

No track stuff ... just a fun street vehicle . I have had things faster than my truck even with a SC but it would be unique because nobody else around here has one .

Mine is the first year with the 6 spd tranny ... will it take the abuse of a SC ? Given the fact that common sense is used ....

Look at the 5.0 quarter times thread. That should tell you what the transmissions can hold. Fastest so far is 11.29 IIRC. He has an aluminator motor, but stock everything else I think.
