I agree it's all about what you need out of the truck. I have two boys, 18 and 16 (OK, men really) and seldom have to put anyone in the back seat for more than a couple of miles. If I was still carting a portion of the soccer team all over East Overshoe, I'd definitely have needed the larger back seat.

My wife has the 07 Screw and I have the 09 Scab and we have 3 kids 8,6,4 and I prefer the Scab for Car Seats because of the suicide doors. It is easier to reach in and buckle them in their seats in parking lots. Plus they can't open their doors unless I open mine so I like that too.

Like the idea of 4 doors for several reasons, so after some very brief consideration of both styles, we went with a new leftover '09 Super Crew , works for us

I like my 4door super cab.. prefer the interior space for people in the crew cab though.. I don't use my bed much so I'd find it beneficial to sacrifice some bed space for people space. I think it depends more on what you're usage of the truck is..

Nice truck though man!

In the Boston Area it seems the Crew Cab is everywhere. Mine is an XLT Scab in black and I love it. No one in my family of 4 is over 5'10" so it works great for us even on longer trips.

Scab looks more like a pickup truck
Screw leans toward looking like a sport-ute.
I imagine Screw to feel more rigid with it's B pillar.

The Scab doors are a trick to operate in tight parking lots. You got to open the front enough to get the back to clear...

I need work on parallel parking for sure.

Anyway, they both look great.

Interesting. I found the Scab to be little harder to load my kids (13, 5, 3) in & out of their car seats, especially in parking lots with the suicide rear doors. And if you're worried about the kids openning the doors, that's what child locks are installed from the factory for.
