Default Sub Behind Rear SCREW Seats? - Possible?

So I have been reading about all the people that found space behind their rear seats in their screw models, so I took a look for myself... While I admit there is not a lot of room (for sure not enough for a normal sub), it looks like there might be enough room for one of the new super shallow subs like the JL 13TW5 that is like 2.5 inches deep...

Just curious to see if anyone has been successful with this yet?

Ok that is a start! Do you have any more information on this setup?

They are 8" subs made by sound ordinance. I purchased them from crutchfield, and they each came with a free wire/install kit at the time. I chose them cause they each have an onboard amp to simplify the install, and have a slim profile. I installed a power distribution block in the center so I only needed one power wire coming from the battery. I used the ground wire from the power sliding window that's located on the rear bulk head of the cab. I also cut the rear interior fabric so the subs would set back further, and had a firm mount point to the rear bulk head. The seats are fully functional, and no one would know they are there. I like this setup for the fact that I have full use of the rear floor when the seats are up.

They are pretty punchy, and with shake the rear view mirror. They won't shake the house down. They fill the cab pretty well with bass.

This is a nice setup. Full use of the floor is good. I thought about something similar but opted for installing the amp behind the seat and having a slim sub box under the rear passenger side seat. There is quite a bit of room behind the back seats toward the bottom.

Quick tip. If you decide to put anything there make sure you put clear silicone around the third brake light. I learned the hard way with my kicker amp. After a major rain storm noticed the back seat was wet. After that, the amp was toast.
