Default RCI Metalworks full front skid plate instal

Next thing the kid wants changed out is this factory front skid plate:

After removal, I see why Ford put it there. The aluminium steering box does look fragile and exposed:

The factory part next to the RCI Metalworks full front skid plate:

Besides lifting the heft of the 2 plates, instal is easy. RCI sent these clips to mount the plate to the cross members. No cutting, drilling or mods at all. Just bolt it on:

A few minutes later and instant armor upgrade, a big plus with a crazy 21 y/o Paratrooper driving it.

No luck on frame mount steps/rock guards. RCI seems to be the only place online that makes them and as much as I dig Josh's gear, the price on them has them on the wish list not buy list.
We did get the trans and transfer skid plates off them. Great quality and super slit instal.

Kid also broke down anf got the Iron Cross rear. Man, it's stout. I really like it.

Wow I have not check back on this thread lately, glad to see your truck is coming along. Awesome and good looking truck. Predator3 you are doing a good job. Strawberry, when will you get to come home and enjoy it? I think the anticipation and waiting part would be the hardest for me. Ha ha ha

Subscribed to copy some mod and part ideas! I have the same exact truck as my daily with no need to take it off road, but some of the minor mods (leveling, skid plate, tires, etc) look like they'll be in my future.

Solid work on the truck and thank for your service.

I think the truck looks great, I think some quality wheel spacers to bring the wheels and tires out farther would make it look perfect.
