Thanks guys, I understand now. Just have to wait for the weekend to find out how much space I might have.

This is the next mod I plan on doing in spring when I put my summer tires back on, they are 305/50/20. I plan on buying good quality 1" or 1.25" spacers.

Question for experts.

1. Does this change anything in my towing capability ? I have a 5000lb TT dry weight.
2. Can I expect any change I'm the drive quality ?
3. Can I expect to lose some mpg's?
4. Will this look awesome ? (optional bonus question)

Thanks guys

Also, could this make my 305's rub if they don't rub now?

1. Your tow capacity will be affected by a very minimal margin. You'll be fine towing 5000lbs. No noticable difference.

2. Driving characteristics was improved due to the wider stance. Taking curves is much easier at higher speeds with less roll.

3. Again marginal if any, I didn't notice any drop in mpg.

4. No, it will not look Awesome. It will look BAD A s s!

I, along with other members are running Boras. They're wheel and hub centric, very important. Check out http://www.motorsport-tech.com/special/truck/ford_s also, some members use Fred Goeske, www.wheeladapter.com

I just got my 1.25 spacers. the direction sheet says to torque the lugs holding the adapter to the hub to vehicle specs which would be 150 ft.# but it says to torque the lugs holding the wheels to the adapter to 85 ft#. What are you guys torquing everything down to? It also says dont use impact tools, but if I use the correct torque sticks you think that would be ok?

My adapters are torqued 150 ft/lbs to the hubs, and wheels are torqued 150 ft/lbs to the adapters. I don't recall seeing anything about 85 ft/lbs when torquing the wheels to the adapters.

My spacers/adapters have been on now for a month or so, and almost 1000 miles ... and NO issues at all thus far.
