Cool Stock Grille Painting - Show Me the Pics!

I have a '14 Ruby Red with the Chrome C-Clamp Grille with a silver underlay. I was wondering if anyone painted this Black or Ruby to match to see if I like it or not! I want to keep the chrome parts chrome!

This is how my grille looks now. (Not my photo, but same truck.)

This is similiar to what I'm going for, except the border and bars will still be chrome. The mesh behind is what I want to paint.

These are exactly what I was looking for with black in the center, but I don't think I like it. Maybe a color-match on the border with the black..?

I really want to see ruby red where the black is in these photos.

Thanks RR!

I don't know... it looks a little flashy for me. I suppose I could paint the border Ruby with Anthracite Grey on the mesh and keep the bars chrome.

It's hard to imagine. I need to get better at photoshop, I didn't even think about using it.

Your welcome. I did up your 2nd request and I think it looks much better.
Have you seen Rnlcomp's truck? He did something similar to his grill.

I just looked him up, and he is actually where I got the photo you've been editing! I like how his looks but there is something missing.

I'd like to go without chrome, but I feel like I would need the bumpers, headlights and tail lights to match, and I don't want to swap my Factory HIDs.

Otherwise maybe I'd go ruby on the bars... Actually I may photoshop that up for a later post.

In other news, I found this!

Gabebauman's truck.

Basically the un-shopped version, which I think looks great!

Check out Rnlcomp on here. He's got a sweet ride with exactly what you're looking for.
His is a 2wd and just recently lifted it. It's a badass truck & he's also got a wealth of knowledge on here too!
I've got a Ruby red painted surround with my chrome lariat inserts that I kept.

Here's my latest shot, now with new stubby antenna. The blue is a touch off as you can see with the sun beating down on it, still meshes well from different angles and when on the move it's hard to tell. I for one am sticking with the chrome. Gives me a heightened sense of accomplishment when it's reflecting it's brightest after a good wash.
