Default Sterling Grey Powdercoat

Anyone had any luck finding a powdercoat color to match the Sterling Grey? I am about to order a bumper and want to powdercoat it to match my truck but am running into walls trying to find the right color.

Thanks,

Wes

The best thing to do is find a powder coating biz that is willing to order a few samples (maybe 6 or 7) that look close and take them some metal pieces they can shoot with those samples. Compare those samples to your truck a various light levels to see which works best. My experience has been metallic colors are a pain to match perfectly. Good luck.

Ya, samples arent that cheap though, although it wouldnt be too big of a deal so I make sure I am doing it right. They offered to send a sample of my paint off and have it matched at one of their companies they work with but I dont have anything I can easily remove and send off. Ill keep exploring my options. May just have it painted to match I suppose.

Kingsport grey from Prismatic Powders is REALLY close, just a hair too dark. Going to keep looking.

Thanks,

Wes

Have you considered a bedliner product instead of a powdercoat?
