Add me to the list. I have the same steering wheel knock or rattle that I plan on having the dealer address at some point. Hopefully someone else has resolved it by then and it's an easy fix.

Other than that, I love the truck.

Was just in the dealership about some transmission issues I have experienced and my service writer with the same truck had this issue. He said it was the tie rod end, replaced it and it went away and then came back. He had a leveling on his.

Great. I'll have to get under it and have somebody wiggle the wheel back and forth to see if there is any slop in it. Seems like it would wander a bit if it was the tie rod end though.

Thanks for the update mr. posi. I have about 2200 miles on my truck now and I didn't notice this issue until 1000 miles or so. The front tires on my truck are slightly cupped too. I wonder if the two issues are related? My truck has the 18" Goodyear SR-A's on it.

My tires cupped bad in front by 4000 miles and I have not noticed the popping in the front or any play in the steering.

Disclaimer: I drive harder than the average bear most of the time, so an odd tire wear or premature wear is not uncommon for me.

I had same issue and the had to replace power steering rack. First they said it was the leveling kit so they took it out but still made the noise so the figured out the problem, fixed it and reinstalled my leveling kit. Also had to replace a mirror that wasn't folded in when they lifted the rack up. 1000.00 for power steering rack and 400 for new tow mirror. Truck has done well since the fixed it

It will, give it some time. Mostly drives me crazy on dirt roads.

Rack is what I was thinking too. First oil change coming up and I am going to have them look at it.

I just checked through Fords service bulletin system, nothing is listed for steering issues for the 11s yet. Once these trucks get some miles on them, I'm sure a fix or part redesign will pop up.
