My steering knock went away with cooler weather. There was a 2014 f150 EPAS recall for certain vin numbers, but mine wasn't one of them. I don't have the time or patience to deal with our yocal Service Advisors...maybe when it warms up.

That was for a QA issue with the vendor.. Someone at nexteer failed to install a certain part of the EPAS in a handful of units.. Wish it was a recall for this forum's issue but it wasn't... Update on my rack... It has been very cold lately here in WA and my knock/ pop has come back (not 100 %) but definitely is there. I am not sure what I am going to do.. Maybe wait until my warranty is up and sell the truck and buy a different truck (Not ford)

Hi Sam,

I would take the level out, take it to Evergreen in Issaquah, and let them duplicate it on a stock truck. Talk to Carl in service. He will take care of you.

I'm telling you... they fixed my truck and I have had zero issues.

Hi There,
From the looks of your photo your truck looks like it is stock suspension (No lift or level kit) Is that the case? have you ever had any modification to your suspension?

Rack been replaced before in your truck?

It does have a 1.5 inch level, hasn't made a sound until last week. No rack replacement before 11000 miles on it.

Good Luck... The dealer/ Ford will blame in on the level kit.

Thanks for the good news.

Can you tell us what the fix was and what it entailed?
