How to remove the mirror caps ??

Bye F150, hello F250
You have to get at them from the inside of the mirror, meaning you have to pop off the mirror and undo the 4 torx screws that hold the back of the mirror on. Once undone, the cap is all yours.
Check the "turn Signal Mirror" thread to see pictures/procedures on how to pop the mirror off.
