2012 Ecoboost 38000 mile report
Haven't been on the site a while but I have been driving and enjoying my 2012 Ecoboost F-150 Screw 4x4.
When I first got the truck, I had a few problems with hesitating and dying out but it has been so long I can't even remember. With 38000 miles now the truck is running perfectly. My lifetime gas mileage is 19.0 and I easily get 20 to 21 on long trips. I can stomp on it and pass anyone without any worry of hesitating. I don't even think about it now.
It rides better then any vehicle I have had, quiet and smooth. I just put a topper on it and will be leaving for 9500 mile drive to Alaska where we plan on getting a photo of it at the Arctic circle. We will be leaving July 18th and spend 6 weeks on the trip including a ferry ride from Haines, Alaska to Bellingham, Washington.
I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!

Glad to see our back deerhunter. Enjoy your trip. I know the truck will do great. We took out previous '11 XLT on a 5000 mile journey out west, and it was flawless. Take some pics to post, and be safe.

Are you leaving the Wranglers on for that trip? Roads in Alaska can be harsh and my Wranglers were done at 35K, getting too many flats so I swapped them out.

Glad you still love your truck, man! I have 30,000 miles on my 2011 ecoboost. Again, like you, I had some issues in the first 10,000 but they've all gone away now.

No I am putting on a brand new set of Michelin's best this week. The only thing I didn't like about my truck was the tires. I have had 5 flats with them. It seems any little thing will puncture them.
