Yea, my 04 locked, My friends 10, my sons 11, my 12 and some on here said their 13's don't lock. Strange. I though it may have something to do with the EPAS on the newer models. Any techs out there could chime in.

With the current electronic security systems on board, having a locking mechanism is unneeded.

Pulled into work like always but I usually straighten the wheel before I shut ignition off (ocd) anyway this morning I didn't and the wheel was almost 180 degrees off center and I went in.

Came back out this afternoon to leave, after remote starting the wheel was indeed locked until I turned the key to run.

So apparently it does lock but not on center like the old days.
