$4, more or less, at any truck stop, for a tarp strap. Remove hook from one end, and hang it whereever under the vehicle. They come in many different lengths, and be cut to length.

Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get out with out being shocked and run over to the passenger and shock the **** out of her. She's on to my games now though.

Lol. Oddly enough all the fire trucks in my area drag chains, I suspect for static discharge. I remember seeing it and thinking they should know better.

That may be a snow traction system if you see chains near each rear wheel. They are mechanically lowered when needed.

Lol. Not here. Snows like 3 times a year, max, totals 3 inches!

Plus they were hanging from the middle rear. Not anywhere near the tires really. And looked too large for snow chains.
