Transmition is this Normal when backing up???
2012 f150 screw 5.0 1700kms,
when I back up into my yard, Im on a hill backing up I put it in reverse, I hit the gas and it slowly moves like its slipping, then all of a sudden it catch's and feels hard when it goes in and back's up. At first i thought it was me not waiting long enough but, Ive had this happen 5 times now, and seems to be getting worse, anyone else go through this with there New Truck???
I even put it in park and then reverse, and it still felt like it was slipping
just started doing this this past week when it now has got a bit colder, went down 10 degree's Celceus
Thanks Grant

My 2009 does the same thing. At first I thought it was not engaged as well so I waited longer and got the same thing. I found it was one tire spinning and the clunk engaging was the limited slip kicking in and spinning both tires... Totally normal

I thought it was lag in the drive by wire. But I could be wrong.

Well it is a hit and miss thing, not sure what it was I actually thought it was the brake holding it back, but today backed up the hill into my drive no problem.
I have to take it in next week to get calibration done as my MPG is still all over the map
The truck has only 1700 KM's, its done other stuff too few times then stopped , like the snapping and popping and cluncking.
I think I will just let warranty take care of it when something actually happens from these odd things it does once and awhile.....so from now on I'am not going to worry about it
I Appreciate all the Comments and will mention it too Ford when i take it in
Cheers!!!
