I had it on mine, and tried a few things to get rid of the drone. I finally solved the problem by putting on a Borla. Sold the whole system to a guy downstate for $50. For myself, it was completely over the top. Still wish I could get the Mustang sound, but that ain't gonna happen.

If you have access to a mig welder, take off your factory exhaust cut open the top of the muffle, sounds crazy but i did that to mine. long story short I put a 40 series flowmaster on and it drove me insane the drone at cruise. I looked inside the factory muffler and saw it was straight thru design so i opened it up to look inside. turns out it is 3 chambers the first 2 have ports coming off the straight pipe the last is like a glass pack perforated pipe with fibreglass insulation around it. I pinched off the 2 ports and welded them closed then welded the muffler case closed. OMG the throaty sound at idle sounds like a mustang under throttle and no sound or drone at cruise until you put your foot in it. Also took out the resonator and replace with 3 inch pipe in total $10 for the piece of pipe and an hour of my time. I like to think outside the box and build rather then buy.

Chambered exhaust like Flowmaster are known to drone, they're aren't called dronemaster for nothing. Disclaimer; If a guy wants the flowmaster sound, go for it, some guys like the sound, some don't. I'm one that doesn't, but I sure wouldn't condemn anyone that does.
