Besides, the 6.2L in stock form doesn't make full torque until 4,500 RPM (in perfect air), whereas the EcoBoost, no matter the elevation, makes full 420 ft. lbs. of torque at 2,500 RPM.
Stock Ecoboost has went 14.32 in the 1/4... What about a stock 6.2?

My god. Get over the racing mantra. There are family sedans that run faster times. With 4 cylinders. Who cares. Trucks are slow. They're big. Your times do not impress.

SDHQ Did a raptor conversion on an ecoboost equipped f150. Reporter stated it was quicker, felt lighter and got better mpg. The eb will never come close to sounding like a v-8. But with a O/R pipe and cutback it doesn't sound ricey either. The turbos make up for the lack of V-8 sound.

mikegmang has done a few conversions already.. im not 100% sure that hes using the fiberworks kit, but I think he has. from my understanding the front end is much easier than doing the back quarters! heres some pics

Hey guys, just saw this post. Feel free to ask any questions about the raptor conversion kit. We do have a really good customer who is just about to do this. He always gives us a lot of feedback.

I personally like the idea of the Eco Raptor but the comparison wasn't appropriate - he compared his 45k Raptor with very minor mods (mid perch, cat back, etc...) to the Eco Raptor that cost 80k to build. The eco had two spare tires mounted past the rear axle, so it handled much better and it pulled harder because it was geared lower, it rode better because it had aftermarket shocks on it, had a tad more travel with aftermarket UCAs and Deaver rear springs - etc... the comparison was just as dumb as the Ram Runner vs Raptor vid.
stock for stock they are very close. obviously the eco wins when you tune it. maybe we'll get an eco option for the next gen Raptor.
