To be very honest, No, we have not had a single formal warranty claim. We have had customers call with issues, our answer is "Take it to the dealer and lets see what is going on". Both of those cases the issue was not related to the tune and covered by Ford.
And just some our own entertainment the last one was this issue:
Customers truck was blowing blue smoke out of the exhaust. We were pretty sure this one was coming out of our pocket, but NOPE, the dealer did an oil change and over filled the truck with oil. A Ford dealer did this......
Anyway, they took care of it.

A lot of people question on this thread whether you would and I have no doubts after this. Even though I knew there was no way it was tune related.

Just out of curiousity does anyone know of a confirmed case where Ford has proven that a tune has damaged an engine?
I'll still probably get you're warranty just for piece of mind since my dealer can get shady at times but I was kind of curious. Heard alot of "my dealer threatened" but never heard of any outright proof that the tune caused the damage.
Thanks!

There was a guy recently with an edge programmer that was refused warranty.
If you search you will find some.
These are all EB engines, the 5.0l I haven't really followed so not sure if any if theirs have been refused.

Does Stage 3 have any good sales on the their tunes and warranty? I am looking at a timer with the 5 star tunes with the 100,000 mile warranty but close to $1,500 is a bit much in my book. I really don't want the 36,000 mile warranty.
Also how does the mileage work. Let's say I get the 100,000 warranty. Is it only good until 100,000 miles of my current mileage plus 100,000 miles ex 113,000?
