Default My HBS leveling kit came in today!

I called the dealer and asked them how much it would be for them to install and do a front end alignment they said it would be $275 I dont feel that is to bad a deal but the guy also said that it will void the warranty on the parts that it affects. Recon im just going to have to take a chance I cant stand the factory rake, a freind of mine I work with had his 10 modle f150 leveled and no problems so im going to go through with it and hopefully get a bigger tire for my truck next week while im at it.

Good thing about a 2" level is that it doesn't affect any parts of the suspension. so worst case scenario you get in an accident, your warranty will still cover everything factory related to the truck, but not the actual level kit. I have a HBS on my truck and love the way it looks. Still retains the factory ride as well.

Find an off road type shop! they should be a lot cheaper! I got mine installed and aligned for 120$ at "The 4 Wheel Center". Also they gave me a one year warranty. . Weird I thought since I bought them online.

It ought to look great when finished, I'm going to test fit a 305x55x20 Nitto or BFG AT at stock height on my wheels and see if they rub. Worse senario I'll have to level it 2 inches.

Wow, ya'll are getting good prices, my dealer recommended shop that dealer stands behind and will honor all warranty work said $895 for install front rear and alignment. Another shop quoted $599 but dealer will not back them.

Should I pay the extra $295 for dealer backed install?

there's a court case from a while back stating that warranties could only be voided if the aftermarket part could be proved to be the problem. someone else here should know the name of the court case
