You are right. They also made Texas editions at GM in 2009. This was right before GM pulled the truck plant out of Oshawa.

In the mid '80's they had a "Cajun Crusier" edition on the F-150's down here.

Not sure if it was exclusive to MN or not, but Ford had a Northland Edition F150. My 2000 was a Northland Edition, i think it came with a block heater and a decal. I know they made them in subsequent years from seeing them advertised, not sure if they currently do or not. Chevy has a Minnesota Bound edition which is an outdoors show in the state, which leads me to believe the editions are more of a marketing scheme by local dealer associations than anything else.

The Texas and Oklahoma edition F150's are likely the exact same. I've seen both on autotrader and they look identical to me. Both just have a badge on the back. Toyota does the same thing with the tundra.

My 08 xlt was a new England edition. Came with xlt chrome package parking sensors and tow package. The edition gave a rebate on the window sticker for the cost of the package.

I like the idea of a compressor/ winch on board. And the bestride storage that dodge has is nice but out bed rails aren't that wide

My wife's Durango is the Dodge P.O.S. edition but then I think that is a standard package across the line

The Texas addition doesn't give you 20s. It's literally only a badge.

I've turned all of my trucks into Nevada editions....The package is mostly just what we call Nevada pinstriping...aka the scratches down the side of the truck caused by the sagebrush when driving off road. I think the Nevada package also includes cow **** splattered up the sides.....and a gun rack, which is optional but surprisingly a lot of people opt for it.
