Spare Tire Size Question
I've had 33" tires for awhile now. Looking to upgrade my spare tire to a full size spare. I do a lot of winter driving and i've read that a smaller spare could not be good for the limited slip/ traction control/ 4wd. So my question is, the tire shop wont mount a 295 wide tire on my 7.5" wide spare rim. They can match the diameter of my 33" tires with my spare rim but the width of spare tire would be less than whats on my truck. 275 vs 295. So would it be worth buying a wider spare rim to match my tire size exactly, or would it be sufficient to just match the diameter of my tires, and not worry about the width being the same. I'm just worried about damage to limited slip/traction contol components. Thanks for any info!

As much as a spare gets (or would get) used ... just match the diameter of my tires, and not worry about the width being the same.
BTW rim width macht nichts to traction-lok.

FFT - 2010+ Raptors ...
- 315/70x17
- 34.4" (diameter) / 12.4" (width)
- full-size (same as on the ground) spare wheel.
- same spare wheel mounting location, mechanism, and shielding as F-150.
