Soon to be a new F150 owner, I think my headliner is messed up
Hello,
I've been trolling here and made a few posts. I had a Focus Electric that kept breaking down so Ford was kind enough to buy it back and exchange it for a F150.
They wouldn't wait until a 2014 could be ordered so I was left to pick out a truck in Arizona. The truck I picked just got delivered to Tucson from a dealer in Phoenix and I went to go look at it this evening and should be taking delivery in the next day or so when all the paperwork is done.
Question I have is, the headliner seems to be hanging down about 1/4" on the drivers/passengers side front and rear and wondering if it's common.
I have a rental F150 and it also hangs down some but nothing like the new truck.
Also the drive is 100 miles from Phoenix to Tucson but the truck has 650 miles on it. It was delivered to the dealer 3 months ago, isn't 550 miles a lot for 3 months of test drives?
I got a silver FX2 Sport Ecoboost with 402A package. I need a leveling kit. I really like the interior.
I'm glad I'll finally be a F150 owner

That's not normal, dealer should fix your headliner under warranty!

Really nice looking truck! I think they pull some trucks off the line to do a quality test. So that may explain why it has the miles you are talking about. I know some have come right off the delivery truck straight to the dealer and had something like 300 to 500 miles on them an in all cases were quality test vehicles.

Slick truck, congrats.
I would point out the headliner to your dealer and tell them you want it repaired before you take delivery. That's not normal and should be a quick warranty fix.
