So sick and tired of.....

I had four of them and had (almost) nothing but complaints. But... my whole point is, maybe it IS time for the OP to switch brands. I was not happy with GM, so I left and have been happy. However, I have an uncle who left Ford and has been happy with GM (even though I can't figure out why with some of the problems he has had). Never the less, he is happy. Do what you think will make you happy OP. I almost bought my 5th GM truck based on loyalty and then realized.... if I bought the same truck and ended up with the same problems, the only person I have to blame is myself and I couldn't live with that. I have been loyal to Ford thus far, but that's because they have been reasonably good to me thus far. I look at it this way, if a car company is going to price their vehicles so high that it takes the average man 5 - 6 years just to pay for it, I better not have to pay for a repair within that time frame (within reason). So today I texted the service manager the same three pictures i posted today and he asked if it was in Max. I replied yes sir and sent him the picture. His reply was "Gimme a second" that was 12.5hrs ago. I'll give him til Monday and then swing by.
Also told him that a friend of mine has a 2013 truck that will freeze you out, it drips a lot of condensation. Mine has NEVER dripped! Thanks for the video Robert!

Welcome, note the higher the humidity the more condensation will drop. Conditioning the air (thus the name) is supposed to do two things, cool it and remove moisture. So if it's 90f outside but only 40% humidity you won't see much if any drip.
P.S. Some more ammo for your next trip to the dealer, this was my temp reading on low during a 90f afternoon. It fluctuates between 42-45f

Here is a picture of vent temps, from my old 2011 (Black) eco-super crew that I traded in. This was on a 95 degree day, after driving around for about 15 minutes.
I tried twice to get colder vent temps in that truck, both times the dealer told me, "42 degree vent temps", no issue. BULL****. So I traded the ****er off.
My 2013 will indeed get to, and hold about 42 degrees at the vents. Along with that, a flow through console for the rear passengers, and cooled seats, it is livable, but not "Chevy cold".
I have seen the 42 degree figure on this forum ALOT. With may posting pictures of colder vent temps saying there A/C works great. Well, many do not. My question is this, who the hell set anything in the 40's as the gold standard in vent temps? My company has a fleet of 2014 and newer Chevrolet trucks. ALL OF THEM WILL FLAT FREEZE YOUR ***** OFF. VENT TEMPS IN THE MID 30'S AT A MINUMUM. I know. I have tested them. Even without a temp probe, it is easy to IMMEDIATELY feel the difference in comfort, when jumping from truck to truck (theirs to mine, yes, Chevy to FORD).
And don't even get me started on the damn slip yoke bump. I have 41k on my truck. I get about 10-11k in between re-greasings. That is just plain stupid. I am due again, by the way. AND, they replaced the driveshaft due to me still having some weird vibration that only happens when I am coasting at 40 MPH completely off the gas. Vibration is still there, and the slip yoke is ready for my once every other oil change re-greasing.
I have started paying 1k on my truck each month, so I can get right side up ASAP. And then its shopping time again........

My truck is Silver with 20% tint, the Chevy was BLACK with NO Tint!
Ford, why don't you fix the issue on theses trucks!?!? All of my other vehicles (All Fords) will freeze you out. The wife's 10yr old SUV is a lot colder than my truck, it's sad!
I would get rid of the truck just for this reason but if I was to get rid of it the wife would kill me if I got another vehicle before she did.

It is a fact that the AC sucks on the F150.
Mine is worse than yours. It's black, with black interior, and it damn near never blows below 50*F from the vents. Especially when the humidity gets up there. How can this be acceptable?

The AC has sucked on these trucks since the previous generation. It was always a big discussion topic in the 04-08 section. Anything over 85 degrees outside meant my 07 had to be on max A/C. Even just cruising down the highway. My 02 would freeze you out after a few minutes on max even on a 95 degree day.

It may have been already mentioned, I didn't read 6 pages worth of posts. If it is possible, I would take it to another dealer. A 15 mile ride to the second closest dealer is well worth it for me. I went from, "unable to locate the problem" to "here is a 2014 F-150 rental, your truck will be done tomorrow, and sorry for the issues, sir." And, they fixed it right the first time.
I feel your pain, man. If you can, find another dealer.

I just traded in my 13 for a chevy 2500hd duramax. The last 2 fords (11,13) I had nothing but issues. I have owned more ford vehicles than most and have been a ford guy all my life. Ford also priced themselves out of the game.
I wish I would have made the switch instead of getting the 13. I know all vehicles have issues... I will tell you Ford's customer service is horsecrap!!! I am not sure I will ever be back in a ford.
the new truck is quiet, rides good, gets great mpg's, and the dealer was awesome! I got 2 years free oil changes and def refills, better warranty, no need to **** with Ford Financing to get all the rebates etc.
My best friend just got a new 1500Z71 and it is awesome. We pulled his 21' boat yesterday into 25-30 mph winds and it performed flawless.
Good luck with your truck. maybe ford will fix it... maybe not. If I were you I would look at another brand!!!
