Default New 2014 f150 vibration

hi, new to the forum and thankful for all the info on here. Bought a new 2014 F150 supercrew, 5.0, 6.5box, and came with Goodyear Wrnagler SRA tires. The night of the test drive it was -5 degrees and there was no vibration. The day i picked up the truck there was a vibration at all speeds, but between 55-60 i could see the bed bounce on the left rear corner in the mirror. called the dealer as soon as i got home to make them aware of it. BTW i bought the truck out of town because i could not find what i wanted locally. This was in january. The vibration bothered me so bad i went to a local dealer to get a balance and rotate. i could tell right off the bat the service writer was ticked because i brought in a new truck i didn't buy there. This was a week after i bought it. No change at all in the truck, i found out later they didnt even do it right. So a few weeks later went back to original dealer. Now this truck and the tires were produced in Feb 2014, so truck sat for 11 months. It was determined on the road force balancer thst the tires were so out of round they would not balance. I ended up getting a brand new set of the good year Wranglers. Truck was better but still had the 55-60 vibration. turned around and went back to the dealer, ended up getting a rental car for a week so they could drive the truck. they road force balanced the tires again and rotated the driveshaft 180 degrees. Truck was super smooth except for the 55-60 vibration. Called the dealer and decided to drive it a couple of weeks to see how it did. So today the weather was nice and warm and drove the truck, and now it vibrates from 40-75mph like it did in the very beginning with the out of round tires. I'm about to pull my hair out and am disgusted with this truck, it only has 1500 miles on it now. so those of you that have gone thru this, is this a tire issue still. Are the Goodyear Wranglers just junk or what? It's been to the dealer 3 times now. It feels like the tires are still the problem, but i have read about the driveshaft issues on here also. Any advice would be appreciated, i really want to like my new truck. I like everything about it except this vibration that's driving me nuts!!!! Thanks for reading.

I forgot to add that it is a 4x4, and the vibration is always in the rear no matter what is done to it.

I too have seen a lot of talk on this site about the vibration problem. From what I read and understand you have two options = keep the truck and live with it or dump the truck and say goodby to about 10K in money. Good Luck

From everything I've read on the topic, a vast majority of dealers are not very good at knowing anything about how to troubleshoot, isolate, mitigate, and resolve vibration issues. Moreover Ford doesn't have any compelling interest in investing to resolve the issue that a substantial percentage of 6.5' box owners.

There are ways and methods to get locate the root cause, it seems however it's left to the owners to do the diagnosis and engineering work for Ford.

have you contact different dealer? It could be tires, axle, balance...or possible bad wheels etc.

I have the EXACT same issue on my STX 2x4 6.5 bed. I even changed the wheel AND tires and still suffer from excessive vibration from 50-60 mph. I am going insane trying to figure out the problem.

Thanks for reaching out, you two! Let's get this figured out. I'll get cases started and escalated to your regional customer service managers for further assistance. All I'll need to get started is a private message from each of you with your full name, VIN, current mileage, servicing dealership, and best daytime contact number.

Brittany
