That was a question I had was... Are there 2 seals? One for the trans case and one at th end where the yoke goes in....and would it contaminate the tran case. In an old 96 150 I had...different situation but every time I stop or start I had a clunk un the steering shaft...slip joint above the steering box... The front end guy at the dealership lubed it with the old STP oil treatment and cured it. Regular grease just didn't last. I like the idea of the zerk. But be careful like someone else said if you over fill it will compress and go somewhere. And ...it can't be good.
