Translation : My truck does the same thing, to a very small degree. Notice I said I was not minimizing the OP's issue. As in maybe his shudder is 100 times worse. I guess I should wonder when someone's "luxury truck" rides like a "hay wagon".
In my experience, the shudder usually lessens over time as the U-joints wear in and are not so tight. Again, I only have a very minor shudder, (more like a butt wobble) on take off.
I have just over 22,000 miles and my specific shudder is getting worse - but remember, its the low speed - start off shudder only.
Active suspension was shipped today and I'm expected to get it on Thursday. My plan is to install on Saturday. When it is, I'll take it for a ride - empty and see. If its fixed, I'll load up an ATV in the bed and try it again. If that works well, it'll take me until next weekend to load one ATV in the bed and one on a trailer. Better load test but the REAL TEST will be when I tow my toy hauler in several months.
In any case, I've had this shudder since new, and am quite familiar with the vibration at any load. I'll report my, findings in the "Axle Wrap..." thread by the end of the weekend.
Lets all keep our cool and our fingers crossed and hope for a positive outcome.
Signed... the guinea pig

justjimmy,
I am also very interested in your results with the new Active springs.
Although our trucks are different, we seem to share the same problem and if the Active Suspension works, I will most likely be installing them.
Thanks for being the guinea pig.

2011 5.0L with 157 WB had the mount replaced about 2000km ago. reduced the shudder a good amount. Has a slight shudder left but not that big of a deal. However I might see if the dealer can get 100% of it gone.
