Slight vibration on take-off

Bump stops and Active Suspension
I installed bump stops for my shudder on take off, which got extremely worse with a large load on, and they made very little difference on everyday driving.
Should be getting my Active Suspension this week. Tired of messing with ford about this issue, and want it gone.
Thanks justjimmy for all the post and work, and Thanks to Nolan at Roadmaster

I haven't gotten around to putting my bump stops in yet, but notice that when the outside Temps are above 60 degrees that there is no shudder (at cold startup or at operating temperature). This makes me believe it's a grease issue with the two piece driveshaft since outside Temps make a noticeable difference. The bump stops I bought are three times or more thicker than the oem ones and I'm pretty sure if I can manage to squeeze them in that they will always be in contact with the next up leaf even when unloaded.

FWIW,
On my 157" WB truck I ran into a problem with RAS. I tow and haul heavy loads irregularly.
Unfortunately the axle-wrap issue is more of a problem with Eb trucks due to the additional torque and has greater impact on the long springs on the 157" WB trucks.
That said, a rear spring on one side has grown weaker than the spring on the other side, allowing the RAS to pull the thrust angle of the rear axle off centerline. This misalignment caused the rear tires to chew themselves up in no time.
Thankfully Michelin has a super sale going on at the time, but my dealer refused to align the truck with the RAS installed and refused to replace leaf springs. Which is to say, I have no RAS installed anymore, but still have heavy loads (got yet another equipment trailer on order right now for a new tractor loader).

so i have a 2010 f-150 with a shutter noise from the rear end. it occures after an hour of drive pulling my big trailer coming to a complete stop and then excellerating. I have had it to ford many times. at 60 000km on it they put a new rear diff in it. Now at 90 000 kms it is still doing it. sounds real bad. Going on a long hunting trip with it soon and worried about it. any thoughts? axel wrap? help please

I had a shudder that started 10 000ks ago when pulling a heavy trailer(8000lbs). It Would shake on initial acceleration and then shudder at about 20 ks. Finally figured out the fix after no luck at 2 seperate dealers,. the e-brakes weren't adjusted properly from factory and were sticking when they were hot. Was very difficult to diagnose because it was intermittent and wouldn't do it when turning. Put it on jack stands the other day to do the rear pads when the truck was hot and when I put it in neutral I could barely turn the tires. Easy fix if you haven't checked that already and are having similar problems

OK. Thought I'd share my story...
I was experiencing a distinct shudder in the drivetrain on starts from 0-5 mph. After reading this thread, I was convinced that it was axle wrap and that I was just going to have to deal with it. I also had a nasty slip yoke thump on start/stop. Both seemed to be getting worse by the day. I was having an oil change done, so I asked them to perform the slip yoke clean and lube while it was in.
Results? It is absolutely smooth as butter after the service. NO slip yoke thump and NO shudder. Apparently the slip yoke binding can also cause a rumble. Not saying that it's the only reason, but it's definitely one of the causes. Let's see how long it lasts.
Moral of the story: Put the slip yoke clean and lube on your maintenance plan. The truck REALLY feels like new again! I'll probably do it myself next time.
Hope that my experience can save somebody some frustration.
Peace...

Found this on YouTube. Exactly my issue at start, but goes away after the first 30ft. Definately tranny mounts are to soft and are flexing under the torque.
Who has the part number for the Raptor tranny mounts that will fit a 2012 F150 Ecoboost 6.5 box?
