Default RCI front plate and grill guard

is there anything about the front full skid plate that would hamper the installation of a Weston HDX or frontier grill guard?

I plan on purchasing a full front plate. Do they alter the clearance at all? I'm assuming they don't hang down at all?

Check out our website and let me know if you have any questions at all!

Can you use older year f150's skid plates on the 2009-2014 years?

Im looking at a some 2004-2008 skid plates and was wondering if they'd fit

Unfortunately the 04-08 trucks have an entirely different chassis design so the skid plates will not interchange to the newer trucks.

RCI please respond to my pm. Waiting to give you my business. Need to know if you can protect my intercooler on my 2013 fx4 with the 3.5 v6. I want the full skid package plus the 36 gallon tank skid and the oil change plug you sell.

Ecoboost owner here. I dont think the intercooler needs protection, if it gets hit, you have already hit your bumper

I'd disagree. Bending your bumper on a rock is cosmetic damage especially the flimsy stock bumper. Hitting that intercooler puts my truck out of commission. If I'm 20 miles in on an overland trip I don't want to have to walk out. Even something simple like a brush pile could put a 2" thick stick through the intercooler at its stock form.

RCI makes damn good skid plates. I recently had mine delivered.

I opted to get the front heavy duty piece that wraps up in front of the intercooler and keeps it protected from rocks, sticks, road debris, etc. The standard steel version has the same level of coverage but for $50 extra I took the highest level of intercooler protection they had.

I finally picked up my skids from the border in 1/4 aluminium. Should I paint or coat these skids or can I run them as is?
