Hopefully my info somewhat helped you even though I'm from Canada and our vehicle prices are higher in general but it gives you an idea. No I didn't have a trade, they wouldn't give me a very good $$$$ amount on my 07 Pontiac G5 so I sold it privately. With my truck I lucked out and it was one of 3 left so I jumped on it and at that time I was looking at buying a used 2012 but the difference between new and used was a 3k so bought new.
