Default Side Running lights

This past week i installed some side running lights on my truck. Dont have a write up on them but figured id show them off and explain a little on how i did them. Really easy to do I got four trailer (led) lights from a local autoparts store and i monted them to the brakets that hold my steps on.only have two some other models might have more. Found ground for them and ran a small wire then i wired the pos all together into one wirewitch i ran to the driver side tail light so they work with my running lights. Looks great at night. They almost look like they should be there from factory. Heres some pics

I like it. And having recently discovered the joy of trailer wiring, I would have tapped into one of the trailer plug wires. I’m too chicken to tap into factory lighting.

Just came across this post and love the idea and I was wondering how you mounted the light itself to the bracket? Did you use screws, tape, etc.
