Default side mirror turn signals

ok so the reflector on the back mirror is kinda stupid to me has anyone done or thought about doing a mod to make it functional maybe by putting some leds or something there so that way if u use ur signal it would blink where there reflector is i thought it was a neat idea but not good with wiring and what not

easy to do. the wires tap into the blinker already on the rear side of mirror. I was able to wire without removing the glass mirror. I removed the puddle lamp and pulled the wires down to access for soldering.
