Also going to switch all the lights to leds at some point and add some reverse lights. Really would love to add a stereo system as well, but it's further down the list!
Looks good! I like where your heading with the truck

Both of you guys, I'm assuming these will light up the edges of the road better than the OEM fogs? That's what I'm hoping for.
Yes, they are light years better than stock and the beam width is insane, it spans like 6 lanes.

I daresay if you aimed them high enough, they would do in a pinch if your headlights went out. I did that when my relay for my HID's went out. Mine aren't aimed high enough to use for headlights but I use them as DRL's all the time.

That's just what I want them to do. Looks like I made the right choice.

Anyone know whether the 2013 stx emblems are 2 piece like the fx4 ones? Was thinking about cracking them open this week and painting them but if not i won't even bother taking them off I'll just plasti dip them one color while still on the truck.

Yes, they are. The black inserts are held in by small tabs on the backside. Just take your time, and they'll pop right out.
There is a set that comes on the "limited", that has no STX, XLT, FX4/2, etc., nomenclature, just F150, like on your tailgate. They come apart the same way. I PDed the chrome on mine, and painted the insert body colour. Another neat thing you can do, is sand off the rough texture on the insert, then paint.
The top photo is one I bought from a member on here, that had the nomenclature tab cut off. The bottom one are ones I bought for the "Limited" package, and after painting.

Thanks for that info. I didn't know there were emblems that did not say trim on them.

You're welcome. I hunted for awhile to find those badges, but as you can see, they are around, and rather expensive, around $125 for a pair, IIRC.
