I personally wouldn't. I think the stock ones are nicer, especially the HD ones

Alot of people who bought aftermarket lights like these complain out the light output and how scattered it is. I would try looking up those members first before going this route.

I know from some of the people I've talked to and from my own personal experience with aftermarket projector headlights unless its solely the looks you are going after don't bother especially if you do alot of night driving.

No such thing as stupid questions... only stupid answers.

But to answer your question the HD/Raptor/FX4 Headlights are trimmed in black. It might be hard to tell but when you look on this page there are a few FX4's that have the newer headlights.

You don't have to spend $300+ on new head lights. Making your own HD lights is very easy. Open them up, paint the chrome frame black and reassemble. I'm doing this myself just picked up the supplies yesterday. If you're interested I can write up a DIY guide but I'm sure there's many online if you search google.

It does work quite well, but the problem is sealing them up well. Mine have condensation in there, and its very annoying.
