I'd be really careful on the larger pieces cause the smoked plastidip can get a little splotchy if you don't do it right. The bumper could look like the hammered spray paint you can get if you aren't careful. I did the chrome trim pieces on my mud flaps and they kinda turned out that way because i put too many coats on too fast and was spraying too close. The next thing I might try is putting a few of the gray coats on first then add the smoke over top of it to see if that helps. Worst thing that happens is you use a can or two of it then have to peel it off!

I saw that too when I was adding coats. I told a coworker who has a platinum that he might want to try that cause it'll just about match his grille.

Yes this is true, I did my bumpers and grill surround last year. The first few coats went on well but the more coats I did, the more apparent the splotchiness became. And you need a lot of coats, I did at least 6-7 before I ran out of PD and it still wasn't dark enough.
