Sharp Turn Rubbing Noise
Has anyone had this happen to them yet?
When you make a sharp, not so fast like rubbing noise while turning. It's like if the tire was rubbing on something. Yet when i look, there is no signs of it touching anything at all. And it only happens on the right front.
It just started doing this a couple of days ago.

Yeah, and it's only on the right side. I tried to look to see what is causing it, but nothing. I might pull the tire off and see if then i notice something.

I've had my right tire off twice and gave it a once over and didn't notice anything. I've heard everthing from greasing the steering stops to bad a arms. I don't know that any one has found a sure cure yet. On mine I'm certain its not the steering stops bc it will do it when I have another turn or so to go before I hit the stop.

It's you're ABS, it periodically happens on my truck. Nothing you can do about it. When your driving and you turn the wheel (and occasionally hit a bump) the ABS thinks the tires are slipping so it engages the system. All I can say is to get use to it.....

I would love to get used to it, but it sometimes does it when i am just driving off at like 5mph but make a sharp right when driving off. So i am not sure this would be the ABS. I know what that feels like and it sure don't feel like that.

There's no way it's the ABS. I have noticed it more prominently when in reverse. It has something to do with having the steering turned all the way. I can only recall this happening with turning right. I just try not to turn to sharply.

I know what it is, and it's an easy fix. All you need is a razor blade or a box cutter. For some reason, the inner lining on the passenger side front tire has a small portion of the lining that extends down, which is not present on the driver-side. I took a razor and cut the excess material off, so it is now like the driver side. No more rubbing since then. Hope that helps.
