Default Oil Change warning

I know it is in manual somewhere, but I'm lazy and looking for offhand info.

I have reset the oil to 100% after changing it myself last month, but even with that, I am now getting the service engine oil soon warning every time I start up my truck.

What gives?

Thanks!

EDIT:

Ok, it doesn't make sense, but it worked:

After setting and resetting to 100% several times over 3 weeks, I still got the oil service notification.
So I set it to 90% and then back to 100% and that cleared the notification.

Makes perfect sense, I guess.

When you reset it did you OK on the wheel? Maybe that will work. I,m quite technologically challenged, and not sure myself.

Double check that you did actually reset the OLM.

Ok, I'll do that... thought I got a confirmation screen after resetting, but I will look again. Thanks!

You said you reset it to 100%.
I thought it should be reset to 0% not 100%.

When you reset the OLM you are resetting it to 100%. If it was at 0% then you would have to change your oil.

"offhand info" ...

(owner's manual) Would you like a digital, searchable desktop document?

Yep, it was at 100% and still getting the message every time I start the truck. it must be independent of that setting.
